The Cellphone Stand.
I needed a stand for my cell phone, such that it didn't occupy too much desk space and I could comfortably put it for charging. The assignment required it to clamp onto something. So I decided to use the natural limited flexibility of acrylic.
To keep the design simple, I cut out a long rectangular piece of acrylic and heat bent it. After learning from my prototypes, I figured out where my slots need to be, as well as how to use the excess acrylic to make a bend for my pen.
