The Trooper.
What with the new Star Wars movie coming up in December 2015, the hype had already begun. I decided to 3D print a Storm Trooper helmet within the volume constraints provided (2 by 2 by 2 cubic inches). Once that was done, I immersed half side of the face into clay to create the other half of the mold by pouring epoxy into the foam core casing. I let it cure for about 18 hours. Then I created the second half similarly. I used a pencil to make sure that there was a hole to pour the resin through.
Finally, I poured the resin and let it cure for about 20 hours. And breathed a sigh of relief when it worked out.
This is clearly how the Empire set up its manufacturing line of Trooper helmets...
